Here is the new Cottoline range! This beautiful yarn is made out of certified organic cotton and linen GOTS. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It is produced in Holland by Venne Colcoten under strict supervision for the perfect organic standard. A very healthy and high quality yarn.
This is the popular European yarn made out of 70% cotton and 30% linen, a 100% natural yarn. The two fibres are blended as a fibre and then spun to create a beautiful soft and versatile yarn. The cotton makes the yarn soft and the linen brings in the absorbency. This yarn is ideal for any sort of kitchen and tableware fabric, but at the same time is very versatile to use in any other fabric range. The linen in the Cottoline yarn creates a little flakiness while spun and makes it unique looking.
The Cottoline yarn comes in 28 colours from blue to orange, bleached and in natural.
Weaving advice: This is a good beginners yarn and is easy to handle. The yarn does create a bit of fluff when working with it.
