It is the best boat shuttle in the whole world!!!
Why?
- It is long (35cm or about 14inches) and not as high as the normal boat shuttle.
- The opening slit is wide which gives a lot of moving space for the weaving thread.
- It has rollers to make it move more easily. (No way the threads are going to be caught between the rollers!)
- It is made out of beautiful beech timber with hardwood insets on either end.
- You don't need to have a race on your loom. This boat shuttle goes smooth along between the warp threads!
(It can even fall out of the back of a car while driving and does not break. It is true!)
They say they wouldn't give it back any more and it was the best invention for them for years!
I use this boat shuttle already for 10 years and they still look like new. I guess they will last for generations....
There are also suitable cardboard
bobbins for the weft thread on stock now.
