We have a new article called Thread holder Having attended a weaving college I have been spoiled with all these great handy things for use in weaving.
The thread holder is one of those great tips.
I noticed that the weavers in Australia are not aware of it.
So I demostrated the use of the thread holder during workshops and the reaction was great.
I couldn’t do my threading without it, I am hopeless in losing threads and crossing them.
The thread holder can easy be clipped on any sort of front shaft. After you hooked your thread through the heddle, instead of letting the thread hang there, you clip it onto the thread holder.
Continuing your work by clipping each thread onto your thread holder until you have the desired bundle or repeat.
This way there won’t be any lost threads any more!
The threads can easely be taken off from the thread holder and make into a bundle.

It is stainless steel, Australian made and transferable from loom to loom.
Doesn’t matter if table loom or floor loom.
The price is $8.— (incl.GST) for 1 thread holder
